The Thurrock Business Awards

Evans Insurance Brokers were shortlisted for two Awards at this year’s Thurrock Business Awards, which are a part of the Essex Business Awards.

First we were shortlisted for the Business to Business category.

The Organisers  say “This award is for companies demonstrating as part of their business to business strategy, a successful track record of adding value to their customers’ business, through an understanding of partnership, responsiveness and their customers’ own business drivers.”

The second category that we were shortlisted for is ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and it’s our amazing Digital Marketing Apprentice Pippa Cox who was selected as a finalist!

“This award is for an outstanding apprentice, nominated by their employer, in their final year who has shown commitment to their own personal development and progression on a recognised learning scheme.”

The team had a great night at the awards, the food was lovely as well as the entertainment. Then it was time for the winners to be announced.

Unfortunately, we missed out on the category Business to Business but had an unexpected surprise when we were announced as Highly Commended – an announcement that was kept quiet until the award ceremony!

BUT the best news of the night was when Pippa won the Apprentice of the year category! We are very proud of her, she has been doing an amazing job and continues to shine every day.

We are so thrilled and extremely grateful to have been finalists for the Thurrock Business Awards.
